Our Mad Scientists continue to demystify the fundamental Laws of Motion by demonstrating the role of physics in our everyday lives. The interactive experiments and hilarious antics are guaranteed to cause a big commotion about the science of motion! A national independent research study found that "exposure to Mad Science significantly increased students' knowledge of science content & concepts; students' interest in engaging in science-related leisure activities; students' enjoyment of science and view that science is fun..."

Physics Day - Friday, May 16, 2008
This annual day-long learning event has become a grand tradition at Canobie Lake Park. Eager high school students and teachers from miles around descend on the Park for a day of exciting physics experiments and demonstrations. Your students will have a blast while gaining a broader understanding of how physics principles are applied to Canobie’s most thrilling rides. Don't miss a special presentation from the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium on "The Gravity Of It All!"

Physics Day features experiments, demonstrations, and presentations at the high school level. Workbooks are provided to teachers to help them prepare students on the laws of physics which govern amusement park rides.

Interactive Classroom - Wednesday, May 28, 2008
The Interactive Classroom allows middle school students to see basic scientific principles at work in an amusement park setting. Your students will solve challenging problems based on the science and technology of their favorite rides.

Move your science lesson outdoors this Spring and join us for a great day of fun and learning!
