Fun Fact:
Canobie Lake Park takes great pride in the natural beauty of the Park grounds. In the fall of 2006, Canobie Lake Park began excavating the ground surrounding the Main Gate to make room for the NEW Front Entry Plaza. A spruce tree, estimated at approximately 80 years old, was in an area meant to be developed. Rather than cutting down the 80 year old resident of Canobie Lake Park, a company was brought in from Michigan to relocate the tree approximately 150 feet south of its original location. We are happy to report that the move was a success!
