ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Amusement Ride Mechanic Inspects, documents, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and refurbishes amusement rides and their subsystems.
- Team Members must be willing to accept the responsibilities of working directly with the public (our Guests), including small children and their parents.
- Team Members perform all Amusement Ride Mechanic duties including:
o Ensure all rides and equipment comply with all Canobie Lake Park Corp. and equipment manufacturers’ operating standards and requirements
o Perform visual and auditory inspections of rides and attractions
o Maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance, and repairs
o This is a physical position involving bending over, kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating stairs
o Working at heights of up to 85 feet
o Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Two plus years experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical maintenance on aircraft, theme-park, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery experience is a plus
- Additional training or background experience in welding, machining, and the understanding of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and control systems is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be patient, poised, and courteous while working with others
- A positive attitude and alertness are required
- Must be punctual, proactive, safety conscious, and possess a strong work ethic
- Must possess a willingness to uphold the safety and performance standards as well as the mission of Canobie Lake Park
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language sufficiently to perform the key duties of the position
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions for a prolonged period of time
- Must have the ability to respond and act quickly in various situations
- Possess a valid driver’s license and provide basic hand tools
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Must submit to a motor-vehicle operator’s check, pre-employment physical, DOT, and drug test
LEVEL/SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience

HOURS
Monday – Friday 7AM through 3:30PM (Offseason). Mornings, days, some nights and weekends required during Park operating season
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Carpenter Inspects, repairs, and constructs structures throughout the Park.
- Team Members must be willing to accept the responsibilities of working directly with the public (our Guests), including small children and their parents.
- Team Members perform all Carpenter duties including:
o Construct and repair structures in a manner compliant with NH State Building codes
o Perform daily inspection walks of the Yankee Cannonball wooden roller coaster
o Framing, decking, fencing, trim work, drywall, custom creations, and more
o Respond to repair needs in a timely manner
o Maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance, and repairs
o This is a physical position involving bending over, kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating stairs
o Working at heights of up to 85 feet
o Additional duties as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of a variety of buildings and properties.
- Team Members must be willing to accept the responsibilities of working together as a team in a professional manner, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
- Team Members perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance in areas including but not limited to:
o Basic carpentry, electrical, painting, and drywall repair
o Lock and key
o Basic plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
o Janitorial, grounds, and snow removal
o This is a physical position involving bending over, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating stairs
o Working at heights of up to 85 feet
o Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or similar education or job experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language sufficiently to perform the key duties of the position

- Provide hand and basic power tools
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
