Master/Journeyman Electrician

Canobie Lake Park has maintained the highest standards of family entertainment for over 100 years and is immediately seeking positive self-motivated licensed Master and Journeyman Electricians to join our maintenance team. These are full-time benefited year-round positions.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical infrastructure throughout the park
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems on amusement rides and devices
- Troubleshooting electrical related issues
- Installing and programming electrical drives
- Repairing and refurbishing electrical components
- Maintaining proper records for all inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Wearing proper PPE
- Working in various indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions
- Working at heights up to 85 feet
- This is a physical position involving bending over, heavy lifting, kneeling, climbing and navigating stairs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
- Valid New Hampshire Master/Journeyman Electrical License or the ability to obtain within sixty days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the key duties of a Maintenance
Electrician:
- Provide basic hand tools
- Willingness to work varied shifts and schedules including nights and weekends
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and submit to:
- Criminal background check
- Motor vehicle operators check
- Pre-employment physical and drug test
Preferred experience:
- Formal electrical and/or mechanical training
- Familiarity with high voltage distribution systems is preferred but not required

Facility/Property Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time benefited year-round position. The position requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Facilities Manager with the efficient operation of property.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative and emergency maintenance:
- Basic Carpentry
- Painting and Drywall Repair
- Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal
- Basic Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Appliance Repair
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of two plus years of related job experience with basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the key duties of the position.
- Provide hand and basic power tools
- Willingness to work varied shifts and schedules including nights and weekends
- On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Amusement Park Ride Mechanics

Responsibilities include:
- Daily safety inspections of amusement rides
- Perform required preventive maintenance
- Trouble shoot and repair amusement rides and their subsystems
- Maintain proper records for all inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Perform the necessary work while following Canobie’s safety guidelines
- Work at heights up to 80ft
- This is a physical position involving bending over, lifting, kneeling, climbing ladders and navigating stairs
Requirements:
- Mechanic tools (toolbox, wrenches, sockets, pliers, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- 1+ year of mechanical job experience
- High degree of mechanical aptitude with focus on safety
- Effective oral and written communication
- Comprehension of safety and policy practices
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must work 40+ hours during the operating season
- Must be able to pass a D.O.T medical exam
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a criminal background check

Foods Warehouse Manager
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager
Canobie Lake Park is an amusement park located in Salem, NH. Beyond our rides, games, live-shows and waterpark, we boast over 20 permanent food locations (mix of walk-up and sit-down style restaurants), 10+ mobile concessions and a full-service catering operation. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to serve as our Warehouse Manager. This position is a full-time/year-round management position. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of the warehouse operation. In order to succeed, the Warehouse Manager needs to be highly detail oriented and have a sound understanding of all aspects of the position.
Principal Function:
Responsible for overseeing the daily workflow of activities in the Food Service Department Warehouse which includes maintaining inventory, ordering, palletizing, and distributing temperature-controlled foods, beverages, and dry products used by the park.
Activities & Responsibilities:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Canobie Lake Park.
- Manage the day to day operation and activities of the Warehouse
- Manage and organize deliveries on time to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Review and analyze stock to ensure proper par levels are being met for all food and beverage locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of all warehouse storage areas.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that team members follow standards and regulations.
- Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas.
- Utilize and lead the inventory management system Yellow Dog
- Operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and golf carts to move and stage items.
- Ensure that all products are ordered according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition.
- Check the quantity and quality of received products.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on policies, procedures, work methods, and safety practices related to inventory management.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and daily duties that are assigned to all Warehouse staff.
- Work with outside technicians on the reporting and maintenance of third party equipment.
- Stock and service collection of 14 vending machines throughout the park.
- Assist in assembly and movement of equipment throughout the park.
- Propose and research new products that fit the needs of the park.
- Maintain compliance with food and occupational safety regulations.
- Make employment and termination decisions including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining Warehouse personnel as appropriate.
- Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures to new Warehouse team members.
- Ensure that Warehouse area is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the Foods Department preventative maintenance programs.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Attend all scheduled team member meetings and offer suggestions for park improvement.
- Coordinate with food vendors regularly to support the operation of the park.
- Be flexible doing other tasks not in the job description.
- Work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.

Preferred Experience:
- At least 3 years of warehouse experience.
- At least 1 year in a management role preferred.
- AAS Degree in Hospitality or related field is desirable.
